What is this floor made of?
SPC stands for Stone Polymer Composite. It blends limestone powder and PVC to create a rigid, stable and 100 percent waterproof core.
Is herringbone SPC harder to install than straight plank?
Herringbone needs more setting out and alignment but uses the same click system. Start from a centre spine, alternate the A and B planks and keep joints tight for a clean pattern.
Can this floor be used with underfloor heating?
Yes, it is compatible with most systems. Keep the surface temperature at or below 27 C and increase heat gradually at the start of each season.
Is this floor suitable for kitchens and bathrooms?

How do you take care of the floor?

What expansion gap is required?
Allow a consistent gap of 10mm around all walls, door frames, pillars and fixed objects. Cover the gap with skirting or trims after installation.
Can kitchen islands or built in wardrobes sit on this floor?
Fixed objects should not be installed on top of a floating floor. Fit the floor up to the object with the correct expansion gap and cover with suitable trims.
Is it suitable for stairs and hallways?
