- Upon delivery of your goods, please open the pallet and check for any damage. You should also check that the correct goods have been received before you sign the POD. Any flooring laid without being checked on delivery is the responsibility of the customer. Please note as per our haulage company's insurance liability, deliveries cannot be brought into living premises.

- Any damage reported 30 days after delivery will not be refunded.

- Wood Floor store operates a 30-day returns policy for full order quantity for a full refund. Any returns made outside these terms will incur a 25% restocking charge Returns will be valid for a full refund on the basis that they are undamaged and in saleable condition. 

-It is the customer's responsibility to verify that they have received the correct product at the time of collection or delivery; if the wrong flooring is installed, there will be no recourse available.

- Before your floor is laid by either yourself or a professional, there are a couple of things you should check to ensure the ground is suitable for new flooring. It is essential that the subfloor is level, with a moisture level of <4%. You should also ensure that there is room for 10mm expansion around the perimeter of the floor.

- As per the industry standard the floors come with a set number of patterns. Fitters are required to diligently mix the patterns throughout the fitting process to ensure an appealing and diverse aesthetic is achieved as per the desired look.

- We recommend that any floor be left to acclimatise in the room it is to be laid in for at least 48 hours before the fitting of the floor, the boxes should not be opened but should be stacked in a way that allows proper airflow to reach all sides of the boxes.

- When laying the floor, it is recommended that the fitter run no more than 8 linear meters of flooring continuously without a break regardless of the shape of the room.

- It is recommended that you fit no more than two separate rooms without a break.

- In a situation where you may want to run a floor throughout the entire ground floor without breaks, we emphasise the fact that the factory will not guarantee the floor under this circumstance. If you still decide to go ahead with this fitting style, we would highlight the need to give special attention to the expansion necessary while fitting. Sufficient expansion needs to be left around the entire perimeter, especially around any door frames (minimum 10mm) but even still there is no guarantee this wont cause issues.

- Baum products are designed to be waterproof from top to bottom for a duration of 48 hours. However, please note that the waterproof quality is not guaranteed if the products are fully submerged in water.

- It is also essential that the subfloor be completely level before laying a floor as laying onto an unlevel subfloor will cause issues with the floor. Wood Floor Store accepts no responsibility for issues with any floor that are caused by an unlevel subfloor.

- We always recommend SPC floors require a completely flat subfloor before the installation of these products. It is highly recommended not to use any additional underlay with these products. There is already a sufficient amount attached to each board in production.

- In a situation where there is not sufficient expansion or sufficient breaks in the floor Wood Floor Store will not accept any damages for any floor issues arising due to this fitting error.

- It is recommended that you thoroughly inspect the floor upon completion. In some cases, if the fitter has damaged the floor whilst fitting, impact damage caused won’t be seen until the first few mop cleanings. Please inspect the floor for any marks, and notify the fitter immediately if you notice something unusual.

- Should you decide you would like your floor fitted professionally, we are more than happy to put you in touch with one of the multiple highly-recommended fitting teams. Wood Floor Store will provide you with an accurate rate for the fitting of your floor, and pass on your details to one of the teams. Additional costs if any will be determined by the fitter following a site survey. From this point onwards your contract for fitting is between you and the fitting contractor and Wood Floor Store accepts no liability for any disputes between the two parties involved.

-For all orders placed over the phone with a total value exceeding €500, Wood Floor Store reserves the right to request additional documentation to verify the authenticity of the order and prevent potential fraud. Upon request, the customer agrees to provide a utility bill either by email or text to confirm the billing and shipping information associated with the order. This measure is implemented as a precautionary step to ensure the security of transactions and protect both parties from unauthorised activities. Failure to comply with this verification process may result in the cancellation of the order. Wood Floor Store assures customers that all information provided for verification purposes will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and used exclusively for fraud prevention.

- Delivery times vary depending on the delivery destination. The lead time for delivery can range anywhere from 1-12 business days for Ireland and the United Kingdom. If you wish to track an order and receive updated information please call us on 01 840 4458. We use a third-party courier company so we are unable to guarantee a time for delivery. All deliveries are curbside as the courier drivers are only insured to take the pallets off their truck. Someone must be home to receive these and take them inside. 

- If an amendment to delivery time is made on the day of delivery or the day before delivery iss scheduled after 4:30pm, Wood Floor Store reserves the right to transfer the cost of redelivery to the customer where necessary.
